Birthdays, carnivals, and other fun stuff

Our summer break is in full swing. We started out with a bang with Mayzie's birthday weekend, then the carnival and parade and dance performances, and lots of lazy days playing on the tramp and sprinklers. And lots of trips to visit grandparents and cousins. Each morning when Mayzie wakes up, she comes to my bed and asks me if it's a "school day or church day or summertime day?" And then she picks an outfit accordingly :) She's pretty funny. She had lots of fun at her 2 family parties. She loves visiting with all the cousins and grandparents. Her 2nd party was a hot day, so we got to have fun doing water games in the backyard.

(Yes, I know she's been 3 for 2 weeks now and I'm a little slow.)

All 3 of our dancing girls performed at the Carnival this year. They did a great job and had fun on the thrill rides and Lyssa loved getting her "Glitter toes" and meeting the local pageant "queen". We had some friends and family over for a fun bbq after the parade. They got lots of fun free stuff at the parade, but the best part is being close enough to walk to it.

WOW you have already had a super busy summer and it's just begun.
Happy Birthday Mayzie!! I'm going to admit it made me a little sad seeing the girls in the hammock, they are all so cute and need to be squeezed.
Keep the summer pics coming!!

What a fun coincidence that all 3 girls got to dance at PEX days. I had to pick randomly since they give us just a 1/2 hour. I love the fun picture collages you put on your blog! Your girls just keep getting cuter!
