1st day of dance for Miss Mayzie

Mayzie started her new Creative dance class today, (which is a combo of modern, ballet and improv), perfect for an energetic and creative 3 year old :) She has watched all her sisters perform and loves to dance with them at home, so it was time for her to make her debut. She has a wonderful teacher, who has done a great job with our other girls as well.

Mayzie was pretty timid at first, but once I had the teacher introduce her to the other girls she did much better and was soon leaping and prancing along with them. It was so adorable. Of course I had to stay in the room this first time, by Mayzie's orders, but next time I plan to watch from the viewing window with the other moms. Hopefully :)

Christmas 2010

This year was lots of fun and we got to do lots of fun things and still relax a lot, hanging out with friends and family, light shows, Santa Claus, visiting a live nativity nearby, a lot of family movie nights... the break flew by too fast. The house is quiet with the kids back in school, but Mayzie and I are having fun. She has slept in for 3 mornings in a row now, sweet girl :)
Mayzie got her Ariel doll and scooter and Bethany got her twin doll and scooter and Lyssa got a Liv doll and a cool blue MP3 player and Aubrie got a camera and a fushigi ball. They all love their Just Dance game for the wii, and Dave and I got some fun stuff for the house. And they all enjoyed being in the nativity at Grandma Blair's on Christmas night.

We feel very blessed and are very grateful.
