Updates for fall

Although I have been missing our perfect fall weather from last week, these colder rainier mornings make for some cool skies. This was my view on my morning jog with Zoey this week. We ran 6k+ together :) We have some really cool trails out here too. She is a good running partner and keeps me going. The difference is I come back red in the face and worn out and she is ready for more.

She is also a good watch dog for us at night and helps us feel safe. When David is away every once in a while, Mayzie likes to pretend Zoey is the "dad" and tells her "good night, dad. Keep us safe tonight." (David was away last night having some "man time" at the cabin, on an elk hunt with his dad and Uncle Carl.)

Sophie our 4 month old cat is growing up really fast and is still adorable. She is a pretty funny cat, that purrs as soon as you pick her up. But soon wants to be put down so she can be on the hunt. She thinks anything that moves is out to get her. Her paranoia is pretty entertaining for us.






And of course we can't forget Telly, our 12 1/2 year old Halloween colored cat. She's a cool cat.



And my cute girls. Don't you just want to pinch those cheeks? Well, I do, but I'm the mom. They are growing up too fast. And I love them to the moon. And back.

They are doing so well in school this year, they have awesome teachers. And it is fun to see them making good choices like stopping to help a neighbor with her groceries (of course she does have an adorable baby boy they get to hold too) and befriending or standing up for kids that they see getting teased. It kind of makes up for the days when they are driving me a little nuts.
